Nature inspired wedding photographed on 35mm

Erin and Connor were one of the first couples to be married at Catalyst Nature Link, a modern resort sitting on a lake and surrounded woods, just north of the twin cities in Minnesota. Erin, a designer, combined classical elements with modern touches and earthy details using a muted palette and foraged foliage. Connor wore a classic black tux with a bowtie and Erin wore a sleek form fitting dress with removable sleeves, together so timeless.

Though rain made its way in before the ceremony, it cleared up just before guests were seated among the trees. A vibrant rainbow touched down over the lake to repay us for shaking up wedding party photos. The moody lighting from an overcast day contrasted the joy radiating from these two.  Such an honor to travel to Minnesota to be a part of Erin and Connor’s best day!

While I also took a majority of digital photos, this 35mm film captured my heart.
